This is a turquoise vinyl LP pressing of At Newport: Forbidden Fruit by Nina Simone, a release that combines the studio album Forbidden Fruit with the live LP At Newport. The title track, "Forbidden Fruit," is a humorous, up-tempo take on the story of Adam and Eve that is part nursery rhyme and part call-and-response. Throughout these recordings, Nina is supported by Al Schackman on guitar, Chris White on bass, and Bobby Hamilton on drums.
