This is a deluxe edition vinyl LP pressing of Chet Baker Performs And Sings Swimming By Moonlight by the iconic jazz artist Chet Baker, drawing from previously unreleased material recorded near the end of his life. The music stems from sessions recorded in Cannes, Paris, and Hollywood between 1986 and 1987 while Baker collaborated with photographer/filmmaker Bruce Weber on the Oscar-nominated documentary Let's Get Lost (1988). Long rumored to exist and held in Bruce Weber's archive for nearly 40 years, this is likely the last new, unreleased Chet Baker music to be released. Inspired by the film's 35th anniversary, Swimming By Moonlight is a two-record soundtrack album curated by Bruce Weber and produced by John Leftwich, compiling music, dialogue, and live concert recordings.
