This is a vinyl LP pressing of Closer (2015 EU Reissue) by Joy Division. The English rock band originally released their second and final studio album on July 18, 1980, via Factory Records. Produced by Martin Hannett, the album was recorded between 18 and 30 March 1980 at Britannia Row Studios in Islington, London. Released two months after the suicide of the band's lead singer and lyricist Ian Curtis, Closer reached No. 6 on the UK Albums Chart and peaked at No. 3 in New Zealand in September 1981.
