Making smart use of Airbucker technology, the Air Classic pickup is designed to mirror the sound of late 1950s humbuckers but at the same time avoid any of the technical problems associated with the vintage enhancements. The result couldn't be more perfect, reproducing that sweet, dynamic sound largely credited to a full-strength Alnico 5 magnet. String-pull has also been reduced to increase sustain and sensitivity, providing a voice that is full of character while also allowing the musician a great sense of control over their sound. The design makes its easier to capture and hold harmonic feedback at various frequencies, all while the chords maintain better clarity. This model is F-spaced and is best used in the neck position when combined with equal or higher-output bridge pickups.
