The Chilli Beans. Maika Mustang® Bass, the signature bass of Chilli Beans. bassist Maika, is a groundbreaking model that combines a 30-inch scale Mustang Bass® with two Jazz Bass® pickups. Based on the standard single-coil pickup configuration of the Mustang Bass, the pickups are positioned slightly closer to the neck to capture sound at a positionwhere string vibration is greater. This bass can express rich lows that are unimaginable from its compact size, delivering more Jazz Bass-like characteristics. The color features Aged Natural with a matching headstock. The Aged Pearloid pickguard pairs very well with the body color, creating a calm, vintage impression that matches the tonal character.
Smaller tuning machines are used to achieve proper overall weight balance. Maika's signature is inscribed on the back of the headstock.
