This is a vinyl LP pressing of High Flyin' by The Ducks. High Flyin' is a totally unique double-live album recorded in the summer of 1977 by the storied Northern California aggregation known as The Ducks. This band often made unannounced appearances at small local clubs and featured Neil Young (guitar, harmonica, and vocals), Bob Mosley (bass and vocals), Jeff Blackburn (guitar and vocals), and Johnny Craviotto (drums and vocals). During the band's magical time, their shows gained a word-of-mouth excitement, making the small audiences feel like the chosen few. The quartet's set lists were often decided on the night of the shows and included songs from a wide range of the band members' backgrounds. This new collection, which includes recordings from those nights and two evenings at the nearby Magical Devices studio, has been bootlegged for decades. High Flyin’ is now an official release, continuing the freewheeling spirit of The Ducks and showing how rock & roll surprises remain limitless.
