This is a MOV reissue vinyl LP pressing of I Am the Blues by Willie Dixon. The American blues singer-songwriter originally released his sixth studio album in 1970, via Columbia Records. Produced by Abner Spector, the album features songs written by Dixon and originally performed by other artists for Chess Records. It has been popularized by artists such as The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Eric Clapton, Cream, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. And way before that, he's been responsible for many of the hit recordings by original blues icons like Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, Little Walter and Howlin' Wolf.
