Ibanez introduced the AZ47P1QM in 2022, a solid body electric guitar from the AZ series. Crafted in Indonesia, it is part of the mid-tier Premium line. The AZ2204NW features a quilted maple top on an American basswood body bolted to an S-Tech roasted maple Oval C shaped neck with a compound radius ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets, mother of pearl dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups flanking a single-coil, a Gotoh T1502 tremolo bridge made by Gotoh, a Graph Tech nut, an angled output jack and Gotoh® MG-T locking tuning machines.
