Highlights include Muddy Waters’ “I Just Want To Make Love To You,” Slim Harpo’s “I’m A King Bee,” Chuck Berry’s “Come On,” Dale Hawkins’ “Susie Q,” Marvin Gaye’s “Hitch Hike,” and Howlin’ Wolf’s “Little Red Rooster” and “Little Baby.” Also featured are Allen Toussaint’s “Fortune Teller,” Muddy Waters’ “Mannish Boy,” The Coasters’ “Poison Ivy,” and Arthur Alexander’s “You Better Move On.” This collection captures the blues favorites that shaped five young London rockers who would become the Rolling Stones.
