Lowden Original Series 23 Walnut/Red Cedar Acoustic Guitar, SN# 26915
Each collection in the Lowden Range features distinctive appointments with a selection of tonewoods and custom options for tone, playability, and aesthetic beauty.
Originally designed in 1994 for Nick Webb of Acoustic Alchemy, the S model is, tonally, the most surprising of the Lowden range. Normally, small guitars have low volume and have a tendency to sound boxy. However, the ’S’ is possibly the loudest of all the Lowden models, having a bass response and sustain that defies its size. The ’S’ is designed and braced for Bass bias.
Specifications:
- Body Shape: Lowden S
- Body Material: Red Cedar (Top), Walnut (Back & Sides)
- Fretboard Material: Ebony
- No. of Frets: 20
