To mark their impending 110th Anniversary, this Ludwig Legacy Mahagony Snare is inspired by some of Ludwig’s most coveted drums that date back to the 1930s and features Ludwig’s revered Legacy Mahogany 3-ply shell design. The key to Legacy's classic tone begins with a cross-laminated American Poplar center ply to lend focus to the warm rich low-end "woody" tones of inner/outer Mahogany plies. In the tradition of Ludwig's “Victorious” drums of the 1940s, the Van Buren showcases a new vintage mahogany stain complete with inlaid maple hoops. With tube lugs, a P88 throw-off and P35 butt-plate completing the package, each Legacy Mahogany Snare features Ludwig’s 110th Anniversary embossed badge.
