The Slap Shake from MEINL combines the companies inventive approach to percussion with the need for a lightweight castanet with a colorful shake effect. Able to mounted any instrument, like a cajon, it features a number of small chambers which hold a centered filling for a very well-balanced and rich, rounded sound profile when played as either a shake or slapped for a a castanet sound.
