Originally written by Björk between Homogenic and Vespertine, the track was rediscovered in 2023 and brought to life with Rosalía to highlight the ecological damage caused by open-pen salmon farming in Iceland. With haunting soundscapes and powerful vocals, "Oral" sheds light on this unregulated industry’s threat to Iceland's pristine ecosystems and wild salmon populations. Proceeds will support a legal case against the fisheries, championing environmental justice.
