This is a 2023 EU reissue vinyl LP pressing of Pin Ups by David Bowie. The English glam-rock singer-songwriter originally released his seventh studio album on October 19, 1973, via RCA Records. Produced by Ken Scott and Bowie, the covers album was recorded at Château d'Hérouville in Hérouville. Devised as a "stop-gap" album to appease his record label, it is a covers album, featuring glam rock and proto-punk versions of songs by British bands from the 1960s that were influential to Bowie as a teenager, including the Pretty Things, the Who, the Yardbirds and Pink Floyd. Pin Ups was a commercial success, topping the UK Albums Chart.
