This is a 2012 EU reissue vinyl LP pressing of Rubber Soul by The Beatles. The English Grammy-winner rock band originally released their sixth studio album on December 3, 1965, via EMI Records. Produced by George Martin, the recording sessions took place in London over a four-week period beginning in October 1965. Rubber Soul sold 1,800,376 copies in America by the end of 1965 and 2,766,862 by the close of the decade. As of 1997, it had shipped over 6 million copies there. In 2013, after the British Phonographic Industry altered its sales award protocol, the album was certified Platinum based on UK sales since 1994.
