The compilation showcases Washington's incredible talent as a blues, R&B, and jazz singer. Known as the "Queen of the Black Jukebox," Dinah's career was tragically cut short at the age of 39. This collection features some of her best ballad performances, with accompaniment from jazz luminaries such as Clark Terry, Cannonball Adderley, Wynton Kelly, and orchestras conducted by Quincy Jones and Don Costa.
