Produced by James Ford, Remi Kabaka and the band members, the album was primarily recorded at Studio 13 in London and features guest appearances on 2 of its 11 tracks: with Snoop Dogg alongside Jamie Principle on ‘Hollywood’, and George Benson on the album’s first single ‘Humility’. The Now Now debuted at number five on the UK Albums Chart, becoming Gorillaz' sixth album to reach the chart's top ten.
