This is a 2024 remastered vinyl LP pressing of Tyr by Black Sabbath. The English rock band originally released their fifteenth studio album on August 20, 1990, via I.R.S. Records. The album was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Rockfield, Wales and Woodcray Studios in Berkshire, England. This album represents possibly the most dramatic departure from Black Sabbath’s traditional sound, with only traces of it found in the occasional riff. Black Sabbath has sold over 70 million records as of 2013, making them one of the most commercially successful heavy metal bands.
